The site is intended as a place for a celebration of Geer’s life, and is dedicated to all the beauty that he was moved to share with us through his art. We are forever grateful.
Currently this site is dedicated to all the available work in Geer’s customary medium of acrylics. Close to 100 works are presented here at the outset. More will continue to be added, in groups of 50 - 100 going forward. If you have a specific type or era of paintings that you would like to see presented here, please be in touch. Geer’s career began in the San Francisco Bay area, where he painted local scenes, as well as still lifes and portraits. Eventually he returned to his birthplace of Maine to spend summers, and became focused on landscapes and seascapes, as well as a whole new group of flowers in his still lifes. Throughout it all, he used his wonderful exuberance and his gifts with color to transform the everyday into something of special beauty.

Geer’s work has found homes in many galleries over the years, with representation from San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego in California, and working all the way east to Maine. We encourage you to explore his work in a gallery if there is one near you.
